Eun-Kyeong Kim receives KAGES Student Travel Award

GeoVISTA grad student Eun-Kyeong Kim has been selected as one of two recipients for the 2013 Sim Student Travel Award from the Korean-American Association for Geospatial and Environmental Sciences(KAGES).

The Sim Student Travel Award was established in 2010 to provide financial assistance to graduate students in the research field of Geography, Geospatial Technologies and Environmental Sciences. This scholarship is particularly designed to help meet the costs of travel to the Annual Meeting of the Association of American Geographers (AAG).

Eun-Kyeong will present "Bursts of Spatiotemporal Event" at the 2013 AAG Annual Meeting in Los Angeles in April.
