Wei Luo speaks at the Global Catastrophic Risk Institute

GeoVISTA grad student Wei Luo recently presented his research on geo-social visual analytics to the Global Catastrophic Risk Institute (GCRI). GCRI is a startup nonprofit think tank working on the topic of global catastrophic risk.

Wei's presentation Geo-Social Visual Analytics with Applications to Catastrophic Risk Management explored some of the work he has done with the GeoSocialApp, a visualization tool that supports the exploration of spatial-social networks. For more details on Wei's talk, visit the link below.
