MacEachren receives Faculty Scholar Award

Alan MacEachren has been named one of five recipients of Penn State's prestigious Faculty Scholar Medal for Outstanding Achievement. Established in 1980, this yearly award recognizes scholarly or creative excellence represented by a single contribution or a series of contributions around a coherent theme. A committee of faculty peers reviews nominations and selects candidates. MacEachren was honored in the category of social and behavioral sciences. He received his medal in a ceremony on April 12th.
