About the Conference

The IV International Conference on GeoComputation was hosted by Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA, USA, on 25-28 July 1999.

Focusing on the interface between geography and computing, the conference included presentations on diverse topics such as intelligent agents, cellular automata, neural networks, fuzzy computing, genetic algorithms, exploratory spatial data analysis, distributed computing, process modeling, and visualization.
