Slope evolution and landslides --- concepts, methods & some implications for data management
A slope is a highly complex system, including slope structures and slope processes. Processes include uplift, fluvial undercutting (lowering the baselevel), weathering and slope erosion processes. These act on initial conditions, given by the morphometry and the underlying material and change these through time. Within the project B13, (Collaborative Research Center (SFB 350), University of Bonn) we focus on the landslide process as a part of this complex system
