Context Discovery Application featured by iVAC

The Context Discovery Application (CDA) has been highlighted on the Integrated Visualization and Analytics Community (iVAC) website. The CDA was originally developed at the GeoVISTA Center by Dr. Brian Tomaszewski in collaboration with Dr. Alan MacEachren. Tomaszewski, now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Sciences & Technologies at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), is continuing his work with the CDA for use by analysts at the United Nations.

iVAC is an international network of interdisciplinary researchers, public safety practitioners, government agencies, industry partners and community leaders involved in visual and data analytics research. The GeoVISTA Center participates in iVAC through its DHS-sponsored research for the Center for Visual Analytics in Command, Control and Interoperability Environments (VACCINE).
