GeoVISTA members presenting at ESRI Conference
The 2010 ESRI International User Conference will take place July 12-16 in San Diego, California.
GeoVISTA Research Associates Frank Hardisty and Anthony Robinson will present a paper during the Enterprise GIS Operations and Software Deployment Strategies session on July 14th. Their presentation, ArcGIS Architectures and Programming Languages: Current Issues, will offer an analysis of current popular GIS architectures and the programming languages that support them, along with an assessment of future technology directions for implementing ArcGIS technology.
GeoVISTA Faculty Associate Cindy Brewer will present a paper during the advanced Tools and Automation Workflows for Data-Driven Production session, also on July 14th. Her paper, co-authored with Barbara Buttenfield of the University of Colorado-Boulder and E. Usery from the Center for Excellence in Geospatial Information Science, is entitled Designing USGS topographic mapping for multiscale online use and highlights their design work for multiscale mapping to improve The National Map.
