GeoVISTA faculty member Alexander Klippel and grad student Rui Li have received the Senior Best Presentation Award for a paper they co-authored at COSIT (Conference on Spatial Information Theory), held in Aber Wrac'h, France, 21-25 September 2009. The paper is entitled "The endpoint hypothesis: A topological-cognitive assessment of geographic scale movement patterns."
