Ian Turton presents at Geocomputation 2007
GeoVISTA Research Associate Ian Turton traveled to Ireland this week to participate in Geocomputaion 2007. Turton served on the Programme Committee for the conference, which was hosted at the National Centre for Geocomputation at the National University of Ireland in Maynooth, on September 3-5. Turton co-authored 2 papers that were presented at the conference. The first is entitled "Using Image Moment Invariants to Distinguish Classes of Geographical Shapes," with Jamison Conley and Mark Gahegan, and the second is "Geographic Information Retrieval from Disparate Data Sources," with Anuj Jaiswal and Mark Gahegan.
