NEVAC students present posters at DHS University Network Summit

Three NEVAC-affiliated graduate students have been chosen to present posters at the Department of Homeland Security's First Annual University Network Summit on Research and Education being held March 15th and 16th in Washington, D.C. From Penn State's GeoVISTA Center, graduate student Brian Tomaszewski will present a poster entitled "Mapping Open-Source Information to Support Crisis Management," and Chi-Chun Pan will present his poster, entitled "Automatic Extraction and Geo-spatial Visualization of FEMA National Situation Updates." Weizhong Zhu from NEVAC partner institution Drexel University will present a poster called "Visual Analysis of Terrorists’ Networks Extracted from the Public Knowledge Bases."
