SIGGRAPH 2004 , Course 30 Description

This course will explore new directions in distributed geovisualization. Specifically, it will cover developments in highly interactive geovisualization tools. A wide array of methods will be demonstrated and critiqued, and a number of future directions are outlined. Many of the tools described are part of geovisualization development work at the GeoVISTA Center at Penn State. GeoVISTA Studio is our application development environment for creating these tools.
